The authoress is really attached to Gramsci’s house since her childhood, because of the memories and the emotions linked to the house, populated by so familiar people. In fact she’s Gramsci’s nephew, because she’s Teresina’s daughter. Teresina was the favourite sister of Antonio Gramsci, he had with her a lot of affinity and shared with her games, books, cultural interests. In this book Mimma Paulesu Quercioli remembers the little Antonio, but also his women, that had had a so great importance in his life, when he was a child and also when he became a man.
